Happy 10th Anniversary to Boys & Girls Club - Thayer Branch!
This September, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of our afterschool program and the many lives it has touched. Starting in 2016, this amazing afterschool program was built through community generosity, a strong partnership with our Thayer school district, support from Boys & Girls Club of the Greater West Plains Area, and the desire to help local kids. In the decade since it opened, Thayer's Club has served more than 330 households, totaling 581 youth ages 5-17 years old served.
As a non-profit, our Thayer Branch is funded by community support and the School Age Community Grant (SAC Grant). You can help support our local Boys & Girls Club by attending the annual fundraiser on
October 24th at the Thayer Elementary School. It’s a Murder Mystery event with a tantalizing dinner and silent auction. Tickets are being sold at givebutter.com/thayerkids2026. You can also make donations at givebutter.com/20x12Thayer. All proceeds from both websites go directly to the Thayer Branch. For more information, call 417-280-2582 or 417-204-2582.
