Working for a non-profit and working with kids is hard work, but very rewarding! We expect our staff to be organized, flexible, kind, respectful, and engaging. Each member of our team has an important role to play in helping the Club function at the level of excellence best for the kids we serve. All potential employees must submit references and pass a background check. Once hired, staff must complete trainings in child safety and development, abuse prevention and reporting, and program implementation before beginning work with the students. Long-term staff will continue with additional trainings for their first year of employment, and refresh trainings as needed. Staff must read and agree to the Employee Handbook and submit to all policies, including but not limited to potential drug testing.

Location: Thayer Elementary
Youth Development Professional (YDP) - Part time position(s) for our after-school program. Responsible for supervising youth & implementing curriculum with a group of 12 – 16 members. Qualified applicants must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check screening. Starting pay will be $12.00/hour and up.
Hours: M-F, 3:30p - 6:30p
Location: 613 W 1st St, West Plains, MO
Food & Nutrition YDP - Part time position for our after-school program. Responsible for plating and serving meals, inventory and supply management, and general housekeeping. Must be able to lift 40 lbs and navigate a flight of stairs. Qualified applicants must be able to successfully pass a background check screening. Starting pay will be $12.00/hour and up.
Hours: Varies, no night shifts, no weekend shifts
Location: 613 W 1st St., West Plains, MO
Substitute - Part time position for our after-school program. Substitutes are responsible for supervising groups of 10-16 members, passing out snack, and completing applicable paperwork. Qualified applicants must have flexible availability and be able to successfully pass a background check screening. Starting pay will be $12.00/hour and up.
